Dr. Amy Reisenauer is a board-certified Dermatologist and Dermatopathologist who has been serving patients in Hawaii since 2005. She completed her undergraduate training at Stanford University with a B.S. in Biology with Distinction and Phi Beta Kappa honors. She obtained her Medical Doctor degree from the University of California, San Francisco with Alpha Omega Alpha honors, and then completed her internship in Internal Medicine at Stanford University. She received her Dermatology training at Oregon Health & Science University, where she served as Chief Resident. She completed her Dermatopathology fellowship training at Emory University and became board-certified in Dermatopathology in 2002.
Dr. Reisenauer has written multiple articles in peer-reviewed Dermatology and Pathology journals. She has co-authored chapters on skin pathology in several textbooks and has presented Dermatopathology cases at the national meeting of the American Academy of Dermatology. She enjoys using her Dermatology knowledge to bring clinicopathologic correlation and relevance to her Dermatopathology diagnoses, and welcomes clinical and dermatoscopic photos from submitting physicians to enhance diagnostic accuracy.
